THE WORK / SERVICES

Land Clearing that starts with the end use.

A homesite, a pasture opening, and a wooded trail need different kinds of clearing. We start with how you want to use the property, then define the work area, the trees to keep, and where the cut material will go.

THE AGREED RESULT

A clearly defined work area, cleared to the finish agreed in your scope.

Start with the finish you need.

Tell us what will happen after clearing. A walking trail can keep roots below the surface. A future building footprint may need a different contractor scope before construction can begin. That distinction changes the method and the material handling.

We separate the limits of clearing from the property boundary. A survey or marked plan helps prevent a larger opening than you intended.

Decide what happens to the material.

Mulching suitable vegetation can leave the processed wood on the ground. Other work may involve cutting and consolidating material for a separately agreed handling plan. Specify whether the proposal includes processing, stacking, or hauling; do not assume they are interchangeable.

  • Show trees and buffers you want retained.
  • Identify gates, overhead lines, buried utilities, old fencing, and wet areas.
  • Agree on the finish and cleanup before equipment arrives.
BEFORE WE GET STARTED

Good questions.
Straight answers.

Can you clear part of a property?

Yes. We can discuss selective areas, access routes, and openings while retaining other vegetation. The work boundary needs to be clear before the crew starts.

Is pricing based only on acreage?

No. Vegetation, tree size, access, terrain, the requested finish, material handling, and travel all affect the scope. Two properties with the same acreage can require very different work.

Do you handle permits?

Permit responsibilities need to be named in the written scope. We ask for any existing plans and approvals, and confirm the applicable local checks before scheduling. A clearing estimate is not a permit approval.

Planning sources & local checks

Use these resources to confirm what applies to your parcel and proposed work. A general guide does not replace a site review or an authority’s determination.
